It is modest but perfect accommodation in Kratie. Next to the river and close to everything. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I had a shared bathroom which was kept clean and was always available. Staff are exceptionally friendly and will make your stay a pleasure. Price is excellent value for what you get.

Located on a small dirt path just in front of the Mekong, this charming traditional wooden house offers an authentic countryside experience. The hosts truly care about their guests, welcoming you warmly by name and ensuring you’re comfortable throughout your stay. They also shared great tips about things to do nearby (such as admiring the river dolphins just before sunset). They even know tuk-tuk drivers who can help with transport. I loved how the modern lighting highlights the wooden details of the house. I stayed in a private room near the dorm, and they gave me a woven basket for my belongings and a fresh towel. The shared bathroom was very clean and well taken care of. This place is cozy, welcoming, and perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful stay by the river.

The property is an old buiding from the 1950’s (I think) recently turned into a hotel. The owner / host made a point to keep everything as close to the original as possible, allowing you to travel back in time. The decor is really nice, showcasing local artists and artesans, the rooftop is great, everyone was super helpful when I wanted to book travel & tours, have laundry done etc. There is a real attention to ecology, creating as little waste as possible. The location in the heart of the market and just 2 mins away from the riverside is also very convenient. Thank you again Alex for making my stay in Kratié so memorable!

A comfortable stay in a very good location. This is a charming small guesthouse with such friendly & helpful staff who are always smiling. The restaurant serves good meals for a very reasonable price. The sunsets over the Mekong are spectacular. Would definitely stay here again.

A very special place with great traditional wooden houses as rooms. Really loved the place. Something different and very well done. Tasteful, artful, very spacious and comfortable rooms. An atmosferic open restaurant with good food. Large pool. All in a beautiful setting on the quiet island in front of Kratie. A great place to stay!

Everything! Dary is lovely, so within a few minutes she let you feel like a family member. We loved this small village with the morning market just around the corner and the country life feeling in the neighbourhood. Delicious breakfast and dinner options with the best pizza outside of Italy. You can rent bikes and start your roundtrip in the morning. Thanks for a wonderful stay🙏🏻

We loved this homestay, and really felt part of the family in an authentically Cambodian neighbourhood - just out of town, but still convenient. Sok and his family were wonderful and went beyond the call of duty in their care and help. We had fabulous food here too, our best in Cambodia, eventually only eating here! (Good for vegetarians too!) We highly recommended this homestay especially if ‘real’ is what you are looking for!
