We stayed at the Won Majestic Hotel Cambodia for one night, and it was a fantastic experience! We were a group of five, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. They picked us up from the airport in a luxury van, and when we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by an amazing team. They upgraded us to a sea-view room, and the room was huge—very spacious and exceptionally clean. The hotel has several restaurants and an infinity pool with fantastic views. The food is also very good; we had dinner there, and the beautiful, delicious pastries they served for dessert were a highlight. The staff were all very kind and attentive. A special thank you to Pheoung Visal and also to Panha for welcoming us so warmly. 🙏 When we left the hotel, they even offered transportation to take us to the pier to catch the boat to Koh Rong. In summary: we loved it, and when we return to Sihanoukville, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This may well be the best value accommodation I've ever come across travelling 60+ countries. Not only are the hosts remarkably welcoming and helpful, but the place is beautiful, well maintained, and spotlessly clean. My lovely room had a balcony, efficient a/c, and a shower with hot water. Extra points for the free coffee, the swimming pool and the child protection policy.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. A magical place, a wonderful hotel. We would like to thank everyone — both the administration and the service staff. I won’t go into details because everything was perfect from arrival to departure. P.S. After JATI hotel we arrived at Koh Rong Island, at the Golden Beach Resort, and compared to JATI it was like night and day 😢 I highly, highly recommend JATI hotel to everyone!!! We will definitely return to this hotel, and more than once!

this was probably one of the nicest hotels i’ve ever stayed in, it was super clean, it had youtube so we could watch some stuff on tv as we were only there for a night , the pillows and bed were so comfy, they had snacks you could also buy in the room. 10/10 room

You can forget about Sihanoukville if you're into fancy...

You can forget about Sihanoukville if you're into fancy colonial French architecture. Such an ugly jumble of buildings I don't think I have ever seen. But - it's the people that count and they seem OK. The indoor market is there if you need something. There's loads of banks and ATMs. I went to the beach and stayed approximately 1 minute since I saw complete lack of infrastructure for sunseekers. I stayed at the Don Bosco Hotel School which has a swimming pool in its large compound. There's a bunch of unfinished construction in the form of building shells but the strand seems completely free of obstruction.

Most people visit Sihanoukville as a stop of point before visiting the Koh Rohg Islands, it’s a different experience as the city is filled with half built hotels, tower blocks ! Apparently the Chinese investor was putting a lot of money into the place for offices and casinos around online gambling but when the Cambodian government made it illigal in 2019, the building work just stopped - so it’s got like this apocalyptic feel about the place - worth a short stay

The Sihanoukville I remember no longer exists .it's now a resort city catering for Chinese tourists, hardly any English signage anywhere. The cities roads seemed to have improved. But a lot of buildings left on hold now half finished properly due to the Covid slowdown. Seems like Macau in the tropics

The whole city is a construction site, many abandoned, crowded buildings. Much of it is more China Town than Sihanoukville, full of chaotically located skyscraper casinos. The authentic one has been lost and that is a minus. The beach would be beautiful if it were cared for. It is degradation and abandonment, very high prices at European level. You don't really have anything to do in the city for more than a day.

Even the Cambodians refer to this city as a Chinese colony.

Even the Cambodians refer to this city as a Chinese colony. Many of the restaurants have menus only in Chinese. The casinos (of which there are well over 100) do not admit native Cambodians. The tuktuks often don't even offer fares to non-Chinese foreigners. Sihanoukville is the place you go to get a boat to Koh Rong and other offshore islands. Don't plan to stay.

It was a perfect night ! After a trip form phom penh, we arrived at the bus station of SihanoukVille and Charly was here to take care of us . He took the time to help us book or next trips and did everything to make sure that we had the best night possible in this beautiful hotel which is really nice and quiet ! the property is surrounded empty abandoned buildings also a lot of trash. near the property was nothing, you have to walk like 5km or take a tuktuk(5$) to reach any place. Sihanoukville is the poorest spot we have stayed in Cambodia, if you can avoid staying there. Although the staff was very kind and lovely, and the italian food so nice and tasty.

A beautiful oasis in Otres Beach. I had one night in Sihanoukville before catching the ferry and I’m very glad I stayed here and not in town. The room was large and had a balcony overlooking the pool. I could happily sit the garden all morning. A $8 tuk tuk ride to the main pier. Brand new fittings in the bathroom. Very clean and good AC.

This hotel was really amazing! Incredible rooftop pool to relax as Cambodia is Hot! The staff was really nice and texted me when an early checkin was possible. Its also good thats they strict on people smoking cigarets in the corridors. Also the kitchen was great with many cooking ware making the whole stay perfect.
