Exceptionally beautiful property with the best and friendliest staff. We had the most delicious Fish Amok here that we learned to cook ourselves with the chef. An added bonus is that it is a social project, offering education in hospitality to local youths.

The room was nice and clean. The owners were friendly, I appreciate them speaking English. Their youngest daughter is adorable. The food (breakfast and dinner) was very simple, but good. Nice coffee. I liked the location, it wasn’t too far from town. A scooter and a bike available for rent.

Location, size and style of room incl the big balcony offered great value for the price! Someone wrote about noisy riverfront... very exagerated and anyway could hardly be heard from the room.

Mr. Sophal and his family made us feel truly welcome during our stay. We enjoyed a wonderful three days, with delicious Khmer meals. They offered a fascinating tour of the village and school, and Mr. Sophal was always available, eager to share insights about how OBT operates. His passion for the school is truly inspiring. To top it off, they invited us to the village fair on our last evening, making the experience even more memorable!

the only thing i disliked was that there was quite a lot of bugs so i found it a little uncomfortable in the room but bug spray or a mosquito net would have sorted me out, unfortunately i had neither

I went on a photography trip to Kampong Cham to photograph how the landscapes changes during wet season. I hired to local Tuk-Tuk driver to take me around both Kampong cham & Tbong Khmum provinces to photograph pagodas, flooded farmland, lakes, forests and to better understand how the locals live in wet season and how the rising waters disrupt their daily lives. I did visit the acclaimed Wat Hanchey outside the city and found most buildings & shrines & statues in good condition, but did not appreciate how they just dump their rubbish down the side of the hill behind the shrines etc, that was a real turn-off. One of the highlights was visiting a pagoda in Tbong Khmum province, Daun Mow Pagoda on the edge of Tonle Bet lake which had flowed into the pagoda grounds making for some amazing photo opportunities. I got to chat with some of the local community people while there. A nice & welcoming experience.

A lot to see and if you get the right tuk tuk driver that can explain things and knows the best places to see then a bonus. Some very nice restaurants on the Meekong riverside. A full day tour cost us $25 and half day $20 to mountain even with 4 of us.

Kampong Cham is very poor city.

Kampong Cham is very poor city. The roads and sidewalks are generally in poor state of repair and restaurants and cafes suitable for Westerners few and far between. Tourist attractions seemed to be minimal so i wouldn't stay here for anything more than a transit stop.

Kampong Cham is currently undergoing construction.

Kampong Cham is currently undergoing construction. The streets and roads are in terrible condition, full of potholes, and dust is everywhere. The city will be attractive once the construction is finished. For now, it's best to avoid staying in Kampong Cham.

Plenty of walks to enjoy in the surrounding area; the town is peaceful, authentic, and charming. Next to the hotel, there's a vendor selling coconut milk waffles…don't miss them! You can also find banana fritters further on…the temple is lovely in the evening, but be warned, the village dogs are very protective!

There's not much to see: Koh Penh with a tuktuk ride on the green beautiful island, the bamboo bridge, a walk along the Mekong. Been here many times and unfortunately several good restaurants have closed after the pandemic.

Super relaxing place to stay in Kampong Cham. Tu, his family and Alfredo were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The bed was LARGE and comfy. Rooms are simple and comfortable. I really felt at home in the place. Tu went out of his way to help me, for example giving me a lift to the bus station when I left. The bicycles and motos for rental make things very easy to get around and super cheap. I came back a second time on my way back through Kampong Cham and brought a friend. Would recommend.

As a solo female traveller, the hospitality, concern and care of the owner, Thomas, made for a comfortable, relaxed stay. The garden is stunning and well kept and the view from the rooftop garden is just beautiful. I will definitely go and stay there again and recommend them to all who wish to visit Kampong Cham.

A centrally located business hotel. Staff was very friendly, but they were not much use for organizing onward travel (business hotel, not tourist hotel!). My room had a nice view from the 5th floor on the Mekong river and there is a roof tares with an even better view of the Mekong and surrounding area.

The staff was really helpful and kind. Excellent value for price. It's a family run guesthouse so you get to see the everyday life of a Cambodian family.
