We had booked three nights to stay at Ratanakiri Paradise Hotel and Restaurant and we stayed for seven .. I think that says it all! It is a little bit of paradise with an owner who is very warm, welcoming and goes out of her way to make sure her guests have the most enjoyable stay. The accommodation has AC, the rooms are clean and comfortable with an en-suite bathroom, a hot shower and bathrobes; the rooms have all the facilities you really need. The staff are very attentive and the chef cooks excellent meals from a varied menu. The portions are extremely generous and you certainly wont go hungry. The hotel is situated off the beaten track and the road can be a little challenging, but it’s worth the journey as the views and the gardens are beautiful, tranquil and away from the maddening bustle of a city. It isn’t far from the city and a number of waterfalls .. we filled our days and evenings with a mixture of chilling at the resort and exploring, so it is a perfect location for all your needs. It is extremely good value for money and we would recommend you stay here if you are in this area of Cambodia.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Happy Guesthouse. The room was spacious, the neighborhood was cozy, and the owner was very welcoming. Indeed, I embarked on an adventurous route recommended by the guesthouse owner, which took me through the Veun Sai-Siem Pang National Park. It was an unforgettable experience, cycling through savannah-like landscapes and passing by multiple tribal villages. Thanks for the tips! It was fantastic.

Everything was good. This house is a bit far from down town by foot but it's not a problem because you'll be welcomed so nicely ! The host and his family are kind and they really want you to have a pleasant stay The host is proposing different treks to do with him in the jungle nearby and I can only recommand to do it

Smey is a knowledgeable friendly helpful owner who effortly organised trips to sights and a day hike for us, plus onward travel. The food is great and freshly prepared with good variety for evening meals. The garden surrounds are lovely. We did a great 2-days jungle trek here. We could choose to go with a local guide who speaks a bit English or pay extra for a very well English speaking guide. We went with the local guide and he was super nice! His English was definitely good enough, we could ask him questions and he teached us a lot. It was a great experience, hiking through jungle and water, set up camp, sleeping in hammocks, making fire and cooking in bamboo with our guide. We had some ricewine together and it was a very pleasant evening. The second day, after the hike, we went to the guide his house to have lunch. It's interesting to see how locals live, so different than us, I couldn't even imagine. Then we visited a village where we learned more about Cambodians. For this 2-days trekking we paid 60 dollars per person. We were with two people, if you have a bigger group the price is less. Except for the trekking, it's a super nice family and they make you feel like it's home. So warm and welcoming. I can only recommend to stay with this lovely family and do a trekking here!
