This was the highlight of our trip. The hosting family is so lovely and kind, they made us an amazing dinner and breakfast. The daughter made sure we had everything we needed and we enjoyed speaking English with her. Adorable! The location is also great, right by Issyk Kul lake. We had a lovely morning swim. Family house close to the "center" of Balykchy. The owners are super sweet and will help you in anything you need. The rooms are very big and the bathroom is correct. There is a kitchen space you can use, with a water filter so you can drink it safely. The lady who runs everything speaks excellent English. Balykchy is a good place to spot the lake from different points, enjoy the view of the mountains and keep calm and quiet, zero touristy.
