Just unbelievable, the most beautiful place we visited in Kyrgyzstan. The yurts are amazing, the staff is super lovely and helpful, the food is UNBELIEVABLE. We had breakfasts and dinners at the camp, there is so much food and veggie (which I think were vegan) options too. You can get lunch too if you want. It’s possible to arrive with a decent off road 4x4 car and the views are breathtaking.

Small, sympathetic yurt camp run by a friendly, welcoming family. Good food, close to the lake, and cosy yurts that were heated at night (also in July). No luxuries, but that’s not why we went to son kul. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was perfect — cozy and warm yurts, peaceful atmosphere, stunning scenery, and delicious homemade food. The staff were friendly, polite, and well-organized. Great activities like the horseback tour to the petroglyphs made the experience even more memorable. Excellent location and comfort overall.
