It is in a secluded quiet spot with no external noise which makes your stay totally relaxing and calm . The food was delicious and beautifully presented . Cocktails first class!! I travelled alone, I was on a fast but enjoyed my evening meals ..especially the grilled fish and variety of sauces. Evening entertainment...but did not join the disco, etc. As it was couple or family centre Ted a single people soon stands out. I loved my room the breeze in the night, being abel to connect with nature day and night was amazing time out for me. I had amazing guide- mbaraza..very helpful. Short stay but will return one day

Everything was great! Great apartment! Great pool, also table soccer and darts. The staff were very nice. Very central, near the shops and the beaches. The food was nice. We rented a boat to go snorkelling, it was amazing, we saw so many fish! 🐟 Would highly recommend! 😊

The hotel staff was amazing — super kind, always smiling, and able to combine great professionalism with a warm, welcoming attitude. The structure itself is beautifully designed and impeccably maintained, making every moment of the stay truly comfortable. The entertainment is soft but very pleasant, never intrusive, and perfectly balanced for a relaxing atmosphere. A special shoutout to Florence, a fantastic entertainer who brings joy with her energy and kindness. But our deepest appreciation goes to Anthony — an elegant, highly professional guide who speaks many languages and is always ready to help with calm, patience, and genuine care. He is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and present without ever being overwhelming. Above all, he is simply a wonderful person: easy to talk to, thoughtful, and capable of making you feel immediately at ease. People like him transform a vacation into an unforgettable experience. We feel truly grateful for his support, his availability, and the humanity he brings to his work. An outstanding team overall — thank you for making our stay so special.

Some really good beaches... very full day trips on boats...

Some really good beaches... very full day trips on boats... lots of stalls to purchase things... good supermarkets on the main road if you are staying in a villa... due to the heavy Italian tourist presence, there are plenty of great eateries and restaurants... easy to get around on motorbike or tuk tuk... generally very safe compared to Nairobi.

Watamu is one of my favorite places to visit in North Coast.

Watamu is one of my favorite places to visit in North Coast. It is not overpowering like other towns in North Coast. The people are very friendly and hospitable. I particularly enjoyed the sunset views at Litchaus and Crab Shack. The cultural tour to Waka Waka Island and seeing dolphins. However, it can be pricier than other places. I recommend going with an open mind and a spirit of fun. To get the most from Watamu, do not rush. I recommend spacing out your travel and allowing yourself to soak it all in. There's definitely so much to see and learn from the local community.

The people are quite friendly including cab divers.

The people are quite friendly including cab divers. The beaches are wonderful. Not too much interference from the beach boys. The area is relatively quiet in the evenings. Good for a person who has relaxation in mind. My favourite beach was Gecko resort. It is easy to get around Watamu with Tuk Tuk or cabs.

An exceptional boutique hotel with massive air conditioned rooms, huge comfortable king bed, great showers, 2 salt water pools, good food and very few people. I loved my stay here and extended for 2 additional nights to soak it all in. Perched on a sea cliff top, there's a commanding view of the beautiful bay And a secret tunnel to directly access the tide pools and sandy beaches at low tide.

I loved the place, it was clean, away from road and noise, walking distance to the beach, you can take a motor to watamu mall and to town,the pool was a plus to me because of the heat, it was open all time. The privacy was on top I loved the bed, was big., The caretaker was so sweet, calls for you the motorbike. A small advice carry your snacks and shopping.
