Blue Water Villas is perfect if you are looking for a place to stay as a family or a large group or a place for several days or for work. It has a home-like feel to it with everything you would need at home including a washing machine and a moderately-well equipped kitchen. Very well managed and clean with a swimming pool in it that's cleaned regularly. The host Solomon is very responsive and the manager and the other members Shirleen and Leah are also friendly and helpful. Whenever we needed anything, they were responsive and quick to respond. We enjoyed our stay and would be glad to be back. It's located in a quiet area, a 15 minutes walk to the beach and also about 20-30 minutes from the shopping center and Ukunda airport.

I am going to wax lyrical on the best place that I have rented. The situation right on Diani Beach Road gives access to bank/ATM and supermarket 5 minutes walk (turn right on exiting the property) Turn left and walk for one minute to reach a really nice Italian restaurant (Leonardo's) The food is excellent, prices well below other establishments and what you would pay in the UK. The host of the apartment is friendly, charming and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. There is a balcony set off the kitchen area. Prop open the door for warm Kenyan air but please remember to close the screen door to oppose mosquitoes and keep the monkeys out ! There is a washing machine available which is really handy for longer stays and a regular cleaning lady. The bed has a mosquitoe net and is very comfortable. If you have a car, there is good security. For the price and locatiuon this is a must have deal. As the Terminator famously said "I will be back ! "

House of an artist ( artists assemble) It feels like chilling in an art gallery, like a hug to the soul. Very spacious and very clean. A fully furnished kitchen with very beautiful antiques. Quiet and peaceful. The place has a very beautiful aura, just calms your nerves. The host? I haven't been hosted anywhere else like she did.She made sure we got the right directions to the place.Made sure to remind us of safety as we traveled to the place( We got there quite late). And checked to see if we arrived safely after our trip. She's such a professional. I have found my go to haven every time I will be in Mombasa. We did not want to leave 🤭. If you've read to this point, I don't know what you're still waiting for. Make your booking already!

We fell in love with Jaffrane and Spice of the Coast for many reasons: The beautiful, spacious bungalows with tasteful swahili decor, the largest king size bed and the wonderful mosaic showers /bathrooms. We really enjoyed the lucious green and neat compound full of trees and plants surrounding the pool with sunbeds. So peaceful. But the best spice is the host Nimmie, who takes pride in giving her guests a memorable stay! She is the best cook and served us faboulous swahili breakfasts and dinners in the cosy restaurant. Cooked with lots of love...and laughs. So tasty! If you want an authentic, beautiful and peaceful stay, do not hesitate to stay with Nimmie at Spice of the Coast. A short walk away from the beautiful and safe beaches. We will definitely come back :-).

Its a nice place with a beautiful beach with clear blue water. Water in the apartments are however salty, I assume its because of the beach surrounding the area. Food and activities are expensive around this area.

Ukunda is a great place to visit with family and also friends.The best place to watch the sunset on Kongo river and the beach is clean with white sand. We very much enjoyed each morning watching the monkeys jump around in the trees surrounding us Also amazing food at the estuary with very good price and friendly customer service. Overall : A beautiful 👌🏾 , friendly and peaceful place to be.

Ukunda itself is full of different kind of problems, but if...

Ukunda itself is full of different kind of problems, but if we specifically talk about Diani, situation is different. Seaview access hotels are in general above average except, Flamboyant, Safari Beach and Seabreeze of which have many issues. Pricing 80$ to 500$ US. Then in Galu beach lies horrible trap places like this ghastly Coconut Village with incompetent teenagers left as managers. The second strip hotels are passable with pricing 35$ to 120$, but usually lack service ability and professional staff. The beach is very beautiful, but people around hotels hustling bring the experience down even bad.

There are several sites you can visit and enjoy yourself, people are friendly but tend to over charge non residents so your bargaining power should be up there. Eating out might be costly but if you have full wallet then enjoy. Visit again? Well any day.

Awesome as it has always been when traveling with children it's the best place with less parties than the north. We however visited club Manyatta and Tamarind which served the purpose right. Do not forget to visit Bora Bora park.

Depending on your accomodation, Ukunda has everything to offer a few minutes walk from your house.Frrom shopping malls to local shops and groceries, High end restaurants and pubs to your quiet locals with pocket friendly local cuisines, the clean beaches and long relaxing evening walks. Ukunda is the place to relax and play.

I felt this location was very convenient. a couple of minutes to the beach. right off the main road so there were taxis and motorbikes passing all the time. there was a small shopping complex close by with a couple of decent restaurants and more within walking distance. i would have no issues booking this apartment in Diani the cleaner was lovely and unintrusive compared to another premesis i stsyed in the szme block for a night after when this was booked out. the space was comfortable and clean

I like everything. This Villa is amazing in so many ways. It fresh and beautiful made! Its located perfectly, close to the beach and with a longer walk or a toktok it will take you to the supermarket, bank, mpesa or restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. The owner of the house is very flexible and kind to. This Villa is perfect for a family or group of friends who wanna come and relax in a beautiful environment.
