The hotel was such a disappointment, all furniture was rotten to the point we’re in the middle of the nite the fridge fell cause it was resting on rotten wood, taps were all so old that their was no pressure of water from the washbasin, the air con was in the wrong place right over our beds which meant we got ill afterwards and couldn’t wait to get out of this hotel. We have been in a cheaper hotel in Nairobi and even that had better facilities and breakfast was nice and included, even that worked out cheaper than this place. Mombasa is not the place to visit anymore as nothing good is left, everything is distorted.

It is such a beautiful city, full of fun, people are supportive and honest, with a lot of adventurous places, I just felt four days were not enough for me to have it all. The ocean views from the different corners, the cheap things in supermarkets, life is just sweet in Mombasa.

Beautiful old city , very rich culture ,amazing coastal cuisines please try some Shawarma around the old town side, beautiful architectural designs though the buildings could use some paint 😂. Has beautiful gems to explore like Mama Ngina drive very family friendly , the ferry ⛴ and even the fort Jesus pierr where people can chill out and enjoy the ocean view and breeze on the evenings for free. Accessible supermarkets ,good transportation , really hot but bearable. If you go there without a plan of coming back you might just stay 😅.

I mainly went there for a Safari. I was at Diani beach. My "friend" told me that 1 could buy fresh seafood at the beach. The "prawns" were more expensive then in Portugal and they were tiny. Plenty of tropical fruit etc. What a load of Bull. And it was expansive. The Carrefour supermarket was something else. No aircon, quality of goods unbelievable, staff almost rude. But then after all it's a French company. What can 1 expect?
The biggest joke in Kenya is, plastic bags are not allowed and if 1 gets caught with 1, 1 has to pay a fine! Millions of plastic bottles laying around everywhere. The people just throw their stuff anywhere, IT'S DISGUSTING.
Diani beach is supposed to be very good! I guess that people have never been to a nice beach.
I had to go to the Diani beach hospital and was very surprised how clean and friendly it was! At least 1 good experience!

Mombasa is great.
Mombasa is great. The white, Sandy beaches are very attractive. I love going into the ocean and putting my legs in the salty water.
Whenever I leave Mombasa I realized my skin was so smooth and generally looking healthy.

Government is destroying the image of the hospitality industries around mombasa. Towns are unclean, roads are not paved. Uncleanliness. As a tourist l would avoid visiting places like Nyeli,Mtwapa... hotels are placed in awful environments

It is so much bigger than it looks on the photos. three rooms and each has a bathroom, plus an additional toilet in the living room. Three balconies! It‘s amazing! The staff was also amazing, friendly and helpful. It was possible to book an additional chef for us! She was amazing! especially because she cooked for us typically Kenyan food as vegetarian options! It was amazing for a working holiday! Plus the beach and shopping facilities are very close!
Lovely resort with rooms and entire apartments. The complex is charming and the staff are great. It’s located in the affluent area of mombasa and although there is no beach the great views of the city and the channel as well as the convenient location for exploring the city on the other side of the water more than make up for it. The tamarind restaurant in the complex is amazing; one of the most highly rated in Mombasa
Hotel is in very good location and easily accessible by vehicle or walking in the town centre. Staff in the hotel is very attentive and caring, always trying to help. Rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable, bathroom well equipped, I also liked that there is restaurant on site and there is bog selection of food.
Breakfast was fantastic and very healthy. The hotel offered very good view and accessibility to the beach. I had the best beach experience from this hotel so far. The staff were very friendly and understanding.
