The good part was that the our room is a separate building, good quality in food, and onsen. The place is clean and nice, with full of Japanese onsen vibe. What I really like was the pace of food they prepare and serve. Never rush, or late, just good in a timely manner. And of course friendly staff.

Here is a polished and natural version of your review: Very nice family-run small hotel. Extremely clean, spacious Japanese-style tatami rooms with a balcony. The two large onsens can be used privately, which is a great bonus. Even though it’s a bit far from the center, it’s highly recommended.

Without doubt one of the most wonderful accommodations I’ve stayed in in Japan. The size of this multi-roomed apartment really surprised me. Amazingly spacious AND with my own private Japanese garden and onsen. Really a wonderful place and the owner Ikeda-san was incredibly helpful offering me lifts and pick ups all the time in his car. Great guy!

We loved our stay, the room was outstanding with an amazing view. The Chef was from a different planet, both the breakfast and dinner were exceptional and exceeded all expectations, a gem! If u are travelling by car, the place is beautiful, easy to find. Near lawson shop, value mart. House is near the river. Futon is very comfortable!!! The room is facing a river. Sleep with the sound of the river. Toothbrush, bath soap, shampoo, and face towel are provided.

Very very very convenient location, just few steps a way from yufuin bus terminal. Next to the hotel is Unagi rice restaurant. Hotel equipped with private onsen and sauna, though small but just nice, no complaint. Hotel has in house cafe too. Room is super spacious and with superb nice vibe. Love it love it love it ! Will stay here again if return to Yufuin next time.
