The place is run by a lovely lady, so helpful, kind and lovely. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The room was absolutely phenomenal, real Japanese style regimen with such comfortables mattresses. The place has an in house restaurant. Very good food at affordable prices, breakfast was also extremely tasty, probably the best Japanese breakfast we had at any hotel. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

The bus stop for bus to Norikura snow wall is just outside, you can get tickets from concierge. Near to all the walking trails. Buffet style meals were suitable for our family. Nice indoor and outdoor onsen.

Its a modest but very pleasant guesthouse. My family reserved the Onsen for a private use and that was fantastic (no additional charge for this). Very very helpful and kind reception. Strongly recommended. The drive there is through the mountains, better to arrive at day time if you are driving a car.

Very hospitable hosts. One of the few places with a truly unique atmosphere. We stayed there during bad weather, but even then, spending the day reading a book and enjoying green tea felt wonderfully cozy and memorable.

This was the best place we stayed in Japan. The King suite was the most beautiful space I’ve ever seen and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. The hosts were exceptional - they went above and beyond to help us and made everything feel special. it is perfectly located in the gorgeous Main Street. Love love loved everything. Thank you ♥️
