We loved our stay there! The staff is very helpful, the thermal bath available in the hotel is very nice, the room was spacious and cozy, with a window outlooking the mountains. We also liked that the hotel encourages guests to choose eco-cleaning of rooms (without sheets replacements etc) by gifting soft drinks coins for the choice. We find full daily cleaning unnecessary and not environmentally friendly, so we appreciate the gesture.

Location was good, about 25 minutes drive to the ski slopes and 10 minutes drive to the town. They provided ample wide variety of drinks to unwind after the hitting the slopes. The lounge is fitted with camping furniture.

Everything!!! Incredible location, steps from the slopes, very comfortable room, great WiFi, rental on site - great people and equipment from Snowcan rentals - very good baths! A few meters from the bus stop. And the food is just out of this world ; and the chef is so good and such a kind person!!! Great breakfast and just amazing dinner!!! You have to go halfboard!! But the best is the people, all the staff is so kind and helpful, and the manager is the most friendly person ever!!! I had the best birthday ever staying at this hotel !! We have to come back !

I think I would have stayed a little longer (than 3 nights)...

I think I would have stayed a little longer (than 3 nights) to take advantage of the skiing and the onsen's (alternate between the two!), to relax for longer in the Japanese countryside. (I did not come to Japan to just check off the tourist sites...) The town has narrow streets to walk on, even without gps you cannot get lost as it is more or less parallel to the river, especially the more tourist section with all the onsens.
