The hotel seemed to be brand new. We stayed for two nights. Our room was very spacious and the beds super comfy. We never actually saw any staff but it was very easy to check-in and all the necessary information was provided in advance. We also loved the spa bathtub in the room. Parking is also free of charge.

I LOVE this hotel. It was my first hotel in Japan so it was a great introduction to Japan. The staff are very friendly and helpful, there is an onsen inside the hotel which I LOVED. Do keep in mind that they do not allow individuals with tattoos inside the onsen. The breakfast is Japanese style traditional breakfast where you sit on the floor (you can also sit on a chair if you want to as they are availabe) and the food is wonderful. The room is a little small but I think that is expected seeing as it is Japan but it was great value for money!

Amazing hotel to just relax and enjoy the beach view, also very happy with the hotel onsen, bed was comfortable, nice breakfast and cleaning was perfect, worth the price!

The check-in process was easy with detailed instructions and a tablet in the entrance. The hostel was beautifully decorated and felt really comfortable and welcoming! I travelled with my family so my aunt and mother were alittle skeptical about staying in a hostel but the wonderful atmosphere completely dispelled all of their worries. Everything was so clean, and the communal area (kitchen and lounge) had all the basics ready for us to use.

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. I had initially booked what I thought was a private room, but turns out it was a shared room with open beds, which had no privacy. I opted for a bunk with a blind for privacy. Thankfully there was nobody above me, but I felt bad for the noises made by opening and closing the blinds.

One of the best stays I had during my 3 month trip in Japan! If you want to learn to surf or just surf in general it is the best place! You can just rent a board and swimsuit at the guesthouse and go to the beach with the free bikes! On top of all Emi and her family are so sweet and helpful with everything! It is also perfect if you want to meet people and surf with them. It is also convenient if you want to visit the Aoshima shrine or even the Udo shrine.

We loved everything about our stay at The Little Garden. The common room is the perfect place to chill out, relax, cook and enjoy the coastline views. We even spotted monkeys! Yoshi and Hiromi were so kind and accommodating and made us feel extremely welcomed.

The hosts are so welcoming, and it's a beautiful spot. Surfboards aplenty, bikes to use, and a washing machine. Beautiful views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Top suggestions on things to do. Just super chilled and lovely! Thank you again.

Very novel experience overall. Container was retrofitted with very modern facilities, with enough space for two to stay comfortably. Amenities were also provided, including cutlery, crockery, and equipment to make drip coffee. Best part of the stay was the outdoor area with bbq pit and sauna. The staff were very kind in helping us to start the fire ahead of time so that we could start barbecuing once we got back with the ingredients.
