Located literally 1 minute walk from the station. The room was bigger than expected with a king sized bed (by Australian sizing) which was great! Coin operated washer/dryers available. The hotel was very clean with friendly staff. Starbucks right next door plus 7-11 and other cafes and restaurants.

The hotel feels very new. Small sized with an excellent onsen. Prime location, close to JR railway station. Young staff, vey willing to help. Tsuruga is a great little harbour, with modern facilities for young and old (Otta bookshop with computer cubicles, Marusan, a great seafood restaurant). The town benefits from the Shinkansen extension but remains very authentic in the harbour areas.

Wonderfully close to train station. Comfortable room. Japanese breakfast was very nice, and staff were very helpful. Were able to leave luggage for a few hours too.

Beautiful old Japanese building in a quite road 20 mins away from the station. The room was much more spacious than I had expected. An old building but very well taken care of - did not feel rundown at all. Basic facilities like microwave, fridge, hot water and an induction hob is provided. Everything was very very clean. I had seen a comment here that the shower room can't be used in the morning but that was not the case when I was there. Note that the shower room is shared among ~4 rooms so might need to take turns during busier times (not the case neither for me as only two rooms were occupied then).
