A beautiful 100 year old Japanese Farmhouse in a delightful countryside. An authentic experience with very kind and helpful hosts. We had dinner and breakfast prepared for us by our host and it was generous and delicious. We harvested fresh vegetables from the garden. The couple who were our hosts were very kind and generous. They drove us to see some other places and helped us with anything we needed. Also, good English was spoken which made our stay easy and enjoyable as we could ask many questions. I hope we can visit again one day, highly recommend for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of traditional Japanese life in the countryside.

What a lovely new hotel, the room was a good size and well laid out. Beautifully clean with vending and washing machines. The location was great just a short walk to the river boat ride, soccer/football stadium and train station

We stayed because it's close to Sagano Romantic train station which we do the ride and some travel in Kyoto then took the train back to station and got the car drive to the hotel. So the location for the plan is really good. Staff is really good and helpful. The young lady at the counter can speak English very well. Building and all facilities are new and great. Breakfast is simple yet excellent. Also there's plenty of parking lot which charge you just little bit extra which is totally fine.

Outstanding experience. Best place we stayed in during almost a month of travel. Comfortable beds, nice and spacious room, everything amazing. We took room with a private bath and foot bath because we didn't know what the stance about tattoos was in this onsen, and I am pretty heavily tattooed. Apparently, it's not a problem! We still stayed in a private bath, but it was nice to know that there is an option.

Friendly and polite staff. Excellent room with lots of complementary sweets and drinks. The private bath was excellent, and the dinner was delicious and a great experience.

The price may seem a little bit steep however what comes with it is, great service, and more importantly dinner (check in before 5) and breakfast in the morning! The staff was wonderful and they truly encapsulated the omotenashi experience Japan is known for!
