The baths there were lovely. It felt a little like the Japanese The Shining, but it was a really fun experience. The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms were clean and the ocean views from the room were stunning. I would like to go back again someday.

I had the honour of being the first international in this place, while many japanese people came before me. I had access to a fully functional kitchen with a one pit burner, a washing machine, personal toilet and sink. The place can easily hold 4 people. While the bathroom was shared, the owner was very accomodating, and so nice and responsive. I was picked up and brought to the station, and even got reccomendations of what to do in the neighbourhood. I wanted to walk the Kitayamazaki trail, and the owner immediately reccomended me a good guide. I'm very very pleased.
