Well located close to a large shoutengai and a Marunaka supermarket, the hotel had everything a Henro requires, including inhouse laundry facilities. The staff were courteous and helpful and the electronic system very user friendly. The complimentary breakfast was varied and delicious. The room had a comfortable bed and a very good hot shower. Thoroughly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very clean and comfortable place with capsule beds where you can pull down the curtain to have privacy. Although there are many beds, I never got bothered by the noise of other guests. There is a shared kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave and you can even cook your own food! From the kitchen, there is an amazing view of the city. Nice shower rooms with shampoo and soap supply and there were even skin creams and stuff available! But my biggest enjoyment was the buffet breakfast. You pay a little bit more but wow, I've never had such an amazing buffet breakfast and I travelled a lot in my life! I had to try all the different kinds of food and even while writing about it now I wish I could go back to enjoy it again. Must-stay place in Takamatsu.

Takamatsu is really a great place to visit as this is the main hub when you want to travel to Setouchi islands , famous for udon , fresh sea food , Olive product, soya sauce, seasame oil too. Tons of food stuff can be bought from that area. Also lots of historic places to visit

was there for the Setouchi Triennale so Takamatsu was the ferry dep point. Ritsurin Gardens are well worth an evening stroll.. happened across a few other nice locla music events -unexpected encounters with friendly locals were a highlight. all in all not a bad place to visit..

We were staying in Takamatsu as it had eady access and good ferry services to the Art Islands...there was also so much to see and do there. Highly recommend visiting the Takamatsu castle aldo a visit to Ritsurin park. You can have a boat ride there amongst beautiful scenery. ..

Takamatsu is a regional town on Shikoku Island in Japan.

Takamatsu is a regional town on Shikoku Island in Japan. It is quite relaxed and has everything that you may look for in big cities. Shikoku Island is one of the main 4 Islands of Japan. It is good to reach by train, bus and even by airplane. It has an old history and boasts of many traditional handicrafts, regional specialties (such as udon noodles), etc. Always worth a visit - even if it is in the rainy season.

Takamatsu was a great base from which to visit the area. We based ourselves there and did daybtrips to places like Kotohira and Shadoshima. All the things you need in a town, small enough not to be overwhelming.

This is somewhere which would be good for a group or family looking to stay economically in Takamatsu. There are four bunk beds with other bedding available for the sleeping area. The other half of the room is a kitchen and dining area. It’s run by a Ukrainian/Japanese couple who are really helpful and enthusiastic about the city. Reasonably placed for places to eat and near the train station for the gardens, castle and port (or about a 30 minute walk)

We Base Takamatsu is a nice hotel with rooms fairly large and tipycal business-style bathrooms. Breakfast is super good and with a huge variety of choices, both JApanese and International. The reception offers a small shop with sounvenirs ad well.

This hotel is located beside the JR station and the ferry station(I was taking the ferry from Syodojima to Takamatsu), besides it takes only 2 minutes walk to the Takamatsu Jo park. I love the sight from this hotel's ohuro (Japanese SPA) too.

Excellent location within easy walking distance from ferries from mainland Honshu as well as JR Takamatsu station. They offer complimentary Japanese or Weatern breakfasts are absolutely superb. Staff are incredibly polite and efficient

Business hotel strategically situated close to the station and the commercial arcades. Functional rooms, a bit small as usual in Japan, and bathrooms. Very quiet and clean. Kind english-speaking staff.
