Lovely house in Arashiyama, felt very spacious for a family of 4. The owner was lovely and really helpful and let us check in early and also check out a bit later. She also made sure we were OK and was able to recommend some places to go. Location was brilliant, easy walking distance to tram and train stops and Arashiyama itself. Nice kitchen and bathroom facilities.

The breakfat was excellent and the location was unmatched. Very convenient if you want to be near arashiyama but its not close to central kyoto so places like uji, nara, gion will be a challenge to get to and especially to return. Cab fares back will be expensive. But if you want to spend a few days at the arashiyama area this is absolutely worth it. The garden, the bedding, everything was clean and well maintained.

The location is very good, a few minutes away from the metro. The lobby and its design are nice and spacious. The free refreshments are very nice. The employees are very sweet and polite and also meticulous. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is very nice that they provide free bicycle service. Everything :) All staff were so friendly, informative and professional. Very fluent in English too which we really appreciate. I had a nice experience at the spa. Clean and spacious room.
