This hotel has a good restaurant! There's also a sauna. The dorm space (bed) is about 140cm and two people could easily sleep in it with backpacks.

Lovely small hotel with plenty of comfortable communal space. Nice sea view from our room. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were able to book the private onset for both our nights,, which was a real treat.

We spent a wonderful 4 days in this gem of a house in Shari. Its location was ideal for exploring the Shiretoko National Park and the Akan-Mashu National park, with side trips to Kawayu and Abashiri. There are plenty of good restaurants and local supermarkets in the area too. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you would ever need. There's a mini fridge with local goodies, too, for a very reasonable price. There were 3 bedrooms. 2 of them with 2 twin beds and a tatami room with fold out futons. Great kitchen with all the mod cons, washing machine, and separate dryer, which worked great. Free parking is available in front of the house, and there's a great yakitori place across the road. It's wonderfully peaceful in the evenings despite being situated along the main road. The host is always available, and retrieving the keys was very efficient. A great stay, and I highly recommend it.

Great little cabin in a rural area was a good base to explore the Abashiri and Shiretoko areas. We stayed 4 days. Summer activities not available in October but the cabin was clean and very comfortable. Good cooking utensils but also 5 minute drive from restaurants in nearby Kiyasato. There is a lovely spring and small shrine in the forest opposite.
