Excellent. The gustaría house is very cosy and beautiful. The deal was very close and kind. We had a great conversation at dinner time, plus everything was delicious. It is located in a very quiet area and close to temples and bus stops. We'd go back.

Just incredible experience!! The monks were so warming and welcoming, they really made us feel at home. The whole experience was enlightening and to learn more about their faith and take part in the morning prayers was truly a unique experience!

Shukubo Fudoin is set back from the main road but is in the centre of the village and in close walking distance to all the main sights. The rooms were immaculate and peaceful. We arrived early but the rooms were ready and our host explained the protocols clearly and with great kindness, before serving us a cup of tea and a lovely mōchi treat. The bathhouse was available for our use from late afternoon until 8pm. The meals in the evening and morning were generous, tasty and beautifully presented. The monks and their team were humble, polite and completely charming. Prayers at 6am was a great privilege to participate in. Although we were there for only one night, we left refreshed and rested.
