Awesome hotel, a liitle travel to get there but with their free shuttle it was no problem at all to get around. Could highly recommend and would stay again for sure!

The scenery was amazing, and the facilities were excellent! The huge TV was fun! We reached out to the staff a few times through the tablet, and they responded promptly each time.

Everything! It’s a new hotel with very generous rooms, elegant and warm design. Nice onsen, outside seating area and restaurant. The breakfast was very diverse and tasty, with both japanese and international options.

The rooms are extremely clean, spacious & comfortable. The shower was spacious & I love the rain bath & shower. Both had strong water pressure. We received very attentive service. Staff responded almost immediately whenever we called. Our location is within walking distance to the Hakone-Yumoto Station. Extremely convenient when sightseeing. There is a 7-11 convenience store close by & a famous Ramen noodle shop a stone's throw from the hotel. Always a queue outside the store. Lot's of food stalls in the vicinity. . Really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Zagakukan.

the view was amazing, loved the private onsen, the style of the place, the staff were so kind and professional, the DIY herbal tea station was fabulous, the shiatsu massage was great, the shower was amazing, the private/ complimentary shuttle was a lovely touch

The hotel is absolutely perfect - we regretted staying only for one night. The rooms are super private, sometimes it feels like you are the only guests in the hotel. Private onsen is a pure luxury. The rooms are basically like 1 bedroom villa, super spacious, modern, comfortable and clean. The aesthetics of the hotel is beautiful: modern and minimalistic design blending with nature. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and memorable. Japanese hospitality is unmatched - we felt super welcome and the service was outstanding. Hakone is a beautiful area worth exploring - there are amazing museums also just around the corner from the hotel.
