The house is absolutely spectacular and I recommend brining food and cooking dinner/breakfast there. It was extremely peaceful and great for big groups/families. The host was extremely friendly and checked in on us.

The host was so kind and accommodating! I arrived very early and she still allowed me to check in to my room. Despite limited english she made effort to use phone to translate. Bento dinner was lovely. Highly recommend.

We stayed one night in connection with hiking the Kumano-Kodo trail. The house was both large and cozy and equipped with everything we needed. Shino is such a kind and helpful host. We also requested breakfast, lunch and dinner, and everything was delicious. Overall a wonderful experience, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here on the Kumano kodo trek. The location is less than a km from the path so it's easy to find. It was exceptional with lots of touches that made it really comfortable after a day of hiking. The deck is great for an afternoon in the sun. Place was very clean, with shampoo, towels and even snacks provided. We almost didn't want to leave. The owner was available via message to help with anything.

Very nicely located minshuku. Perfect for a stay after the first etappe of Kohechi trail. Since there was no accomodation available in Miuraguchi, after the second part of Kohechi, they arranged transport for us from Miuraguchi and back next morning! Iyuko waited for us and helped us out since one person had an accident in the mountains. She is a phantastic person! Excellent food and bento. Nice rooms. Public bath, free transport to it. We felt at home here all of us!

True Japanese hospitality in the traditional style, wonderful food (breakfast and dinner) and the special on site experience requiring a walk through a tunnel is certainly memorable. Our hosts were always smiling and friendly and helped us with a bus reservation (which was vital)
