An absolute paradise, nothing less. Big house on 2 floors, with a very large living room, 2 balconies and stunning views. Every single thing in this place is designer-grade, even down to the water kettle. The surroundings are nothing short of magical, with hills, forests, birdsong, a beautiful lake, etc., etc. Owner, Jin, was very attentive and really bent over backwards in making sure we had everything we needed - even months before the trip, he was offering help with finding proper restaurants in the area (which he, of course, did). We cannot recommend this wonderful place enough.

From being picked up from the Station, until we departed this was an exceptional place to stay. An full apartment sized room, a soak in one of the two hot springs, two western-style breakfasts, our favorite hotel on a 15 hotel tour of japan. Front of house and chef were both great.

The super adorable and attentive Jessie! She’s so pretty she looks like an angel. Jessie served breakfast with all her angelic grace, helped us set up fireworks, and taught us shortcuts to bus stations, and many other things. The owners were super courteous and kind to give us a ride to a nearby station. Unforgettable experience! The whole place was felt like a magical manor, with onsen, and everything else super clean. Please support the place by keeping everything tidy and organised~

The whole facility is amazing. The staff was also very patient and kind even though I believe I broke a rule (staying too late in the morning). The food is also exceptional. This was a really good first time Ryokan experience for me and I will definitely be back when I return to Japan.
