This is a beautiful and very large accommodation (an entire house), that seems to be taken right out of an interior design magazine! It is clear that the owners and beautifully carefully renovated an old traditional Japanese house. It is a joy to stay here! Night skies are especially beautiful.

The onsen was fantastic. We enjoyed the family bath that night and took a quick dip in the morning. The beds were very comfortable, giving us both a good night's sleep. It was great to lounge around in the supplied yukatas and winter jacket, taking in the spectacular scenery of the river. Although we can not speak any Japanese, we were able to communicate with the owner.

Great location right by the river. The hosts were wonderful and kids so cute! The house is new and well-equipped, including external BBQ. The special bonus was joining the cross-fit lessons on prem - really cool family experience!
