Superb service from the staff, especially Ms Yen and Ms Chabani Gopali and the chefs who made us two delicious dinners/breakfast the two nights we were there. Good onsen baths and good fun in the "walking" onsen and outdoor warm pools. Cabin was spacious and very comfortable. A big thank you for a very relaxing stay.

The food was excellent. The hosts were wonderful. The place is perfect to relax and just not do much. Due to its european style, it all seems a bit ureal.

What a lovely hidden gem! A beautiful wooden house with multiple rooms and all the facilities you need for a very comfortable stay. The owner is very nice and helpfull and speaks English. The location is peaceful, in the mountains along a wide river and it is easy to navigate to nearby convenience stores, restaurants and hot springs.

This small local hotel is nice and comfy. You can experience the local hotel in the little town like you are in the Japanese series. The room is spacious, bathroom is very new. Staff is very helpful, the nightshift lady cannot speak English but she tried her best to help us park our car nearby. Breakfast is a delicious Japanese set.

Great location amidst the mountains of kumamoto prefecture, with the river it makes for a beautiful scenery. The onsens are great and there is even a swimming pool if you just want to exercise. Food is good, it’s nice to experience a traditional diner and breakfast.
