The staff was extremely friendly. I highly recommend taking dinner on the fire. Very nice onsen and wonderful view to the lake and Fuji San. Magical place and atmosphere.

The hotel was located across from the beautiful & serene lake Shoji and surrounded by magical forests of cedar and beech trees, with incredible views of Mt Fuji. The property was delightful and its simple Ryokan rooms were perfect for our needs. The onsens were a wonderful addition. The staff were wonderfully helpful and welcoming and we would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Apart from the noise from the tatami room aircon unit everything else was perfect. I particularly liked the washing machine that one can choose temperature. The majority of washing machines here in Japan do not have that option.
