The hotel is absolutely perfect - we regretted staying only for one night. The rooms are super private, sometimes it feels like you are the only guests in the hotel. Private onsen is a pure luxury. The rooms are basically like 1 bedroom villa, super spacious, modern, comfortable and clean. The aesthetics of the hotel is beautiful: modern and minimalistic design blending with nature. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and memorable. Japanese hospitality is unmatched - we felt super welcome and the service was outstanding. Hakone is a beautiful area worth exploring - there are amazing museums also just around the corner from the hotel.

The room was really good. There was a nice view. The private onsen was a first time thing for me. It was a really good experience! I had the occasion to eat there too at night. The taste and quality were outstanding. The staff was also really professional and lovely.

Everything was beautifully presented, the dinner was definitely a highlight, and the views, quiet surroundings, and absolutely delightful library was top notch. I could have spent many more days reading and soaking in the serenity! The thoughtfulness of the dinner and breakfast, we were provided the story of each dish, made it greatly more enjoyable.

Great location in the middle of Hakone sights, close to bus...

Great location in the middle of Hakone sights, close to bus stop and train stop which is very convenient. Gorgeous property with old style designs but modern amenities. The outdoor private onsen was wonderful, but need to access outdoor to use the shower and bath which was a little inconvenient if using late at night and if it’s cold. Wonderful stay, beds were very comfortable.
