The hotel is located very close to the Mishima station. You have your own room with a toilet and a basin. There are very comfortable shared bathrooms. The rooms are quiet. We have really appreciated work space with free baverages and wine from 17 to 20 hr. We also used the option to borrow bicycles for free. The breakfast was amazing. You can also keep your luggage there before and after your stay. They have quite good inspirational books you can read there (we used the one with hiking courses in the area). The Mishima town is very nice to walk around with nice places to eat and drink in. You can just get on a train and you can go hiking in the mountains nearby (with a view on Mt. Fuji, of course) and you can get within a little time to Atami and Shuzenji.

Very practical hotel with little touches such as fresh flowers in the rooms. The rooms were clean and well organized. This was very close to the train station and very convenient to get to. The restaurants just up the street were AMAZING actually my favorite place we ate the whole time was here.

The hotel is located very close to the Mishima station. You have your own room with a toilet and a basin. There are very comfortable shared bathrooms. The rooms are quiet. We have really appreciated work space with free baverages and wine from 17 to 20 hr. We also used the option to borrow bicycles for free. The breakfast was amazing. You can also keep your luggage there before and after your stay. They have quite good inspirational books you can read there (we used the one with hiking courses in the area). The Mishima town is very nice to walk around with nice places to eat and drink in. You can just get on a train and you can go hiking in the mountains nearby (with a view on Mt. Fuji, of course) and you can get within a little time to Atami and Shuzenji.

Close enough to Mt Fuji to day-travel by car around the base, visiting the beautiful lakes and going up the cable car for a closer look at Mt Fuji. Unfortunately was cloudy when we arrived and She didn't oblige us! Absolutely beautiful places that we drove through and at the lakes we had spectacular views. Cheap car hire. Small narrow car (Nissan Dayz) but comfortably fitted 4 adults.

The area was very family orientated, clean and completely...

The area was very family orientated, clean and completely different from Tokyo or Santa that I visited before. Although I felt like I stoodout like a sore thumb with my husband, as I didn’t see a lot of foreigners, but the people around made it so much more welcoming.

Mishima is a diamond 💎.

Mishima is a diamond 💎. It was one of the most beautiful places I visited in Japan. The gardens, clear water streams, beautiful people, wonderful parks with animal petting zoo make this area a magnificent visit. Being on the doorstep of Mt Fuji it’s easy to catch public transport up the mountain. If you are looking for a top notch Japanese kitchen knife to take home, visit 3 waves. They have a great range of knives, higher quality than specialist stores in Tokyo or Kyoto with prices much lower than everywhere else I looked in Japan. The owner is learning English and will help you out. She is second generation. He father left the stock to her.

On route E1 can reach MT Fuji and 5 lakes, Hakone and Lake...

On route E1 can reach MT Fuji and 5 lakes, Hakone and Lake Ashi and best of all route on 246 can reach Gotemba and E1A express the Gotema Premium Outlet shopping Mall back to Mishima all in 40 minutes.

Most people head to the Sky Walk, but if you want to avoid...

Most people head to the Sky Walk, but if you want to avoid the crowds and view some lovely scenery head to Yamanaka Castle Ruins. The paths meander past pine groves and various ancient trees and seemingly go on forever. I wish I'd had more time to fully explore the area.

It was small city about 100k people.

It was small city about 100k people. The draw to the city was Sky Walk suspension bridge. There are no metro’s so transportation is by bus as well as taxis. A nice town away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Osaka.

Very close to the train station, just a 6-minute walk. The room was amazing and very comfortable — we stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room with tatami mats, a futon, and a lovely low table. I really liked it. There’s a 7-Eleven only 50 meters from the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel offers all the services you might need, including a complimentary aperitif with wine and other drinks. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Mishima.

The hotel's location was fantastic. It was very close to the station which made our logistics a bit better. Breakfast was also included with coffee and juices. Welcome drinks were also provided upon check in. The rooms/bathrooms were spacious compared to all other hotels we stayed at during trip to Japan.

The hotel is right in front of the train station and buses are just stone throw away, very convenient. The view was wonderful. Mt. Fuji can be clearly seen. There us also onsen on top floor. You can soak in onsen while watching Mt Fuji. Beautiful.

This was a last minute booking for us when our Shinkansen delay meant we needed somewhere to stay in Mishima at the last minute. It was a perfectly satisfactory hotel and room. We were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Super cheap. Good size room. Great view or the mountains from the top floor. Good value breakfast buffet. Right by station and lovely park and river walk. Easy to get to Mishima skywalk by bus, and even saw MountFuji!
