Almost brand new hotel, very modern but also keeping a Japanese character. Great amenities, nice onsen, perfect location, walking distance to many attractions and to the main station. It was my second time staying there and the hotel remains just as nice as the first time and extremely practical. Apart from coming from and going back to the train station, the hotel's situation allows us to walk everywhere if we feel like it. That's what I did and it was perfectly fine that way. Once again, I managed to be perched high up with a marvelous view and I loved it ! The room's cleanliness was impeccable also. And the shoe dryer came in handy for the snowy season.
