The staff are so lovely, Takashi and Echo are so friendly and helpful, creating a very homely vibe. The location is a little secluded but nothing a free shuttle can't fix, and the food is delicious. Warm rooms with underfloor heating, and comfy beds. all the facilities I felt were needed, and a lot of personality inside the building! It's a very cool place to stay, especially in season when there are many others staying. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay guys!

We had a great , relaxing family getaway at Nojiri Lake Resort. Ted and his staff were excellent hosts and really made our stay a memorable one. Breakfast was excellent and Ted also prepared a vegetarian dinner upon our request. The Resort offers a beautiful view of the Nojiri Lake with the majestic mountains surrounding it. We would definitely love to come back again, perhaps during the summer.

The rooms are spacious, good value with everything you need. The heating was more than adequate and the presentation of everything went above expectation. The facilities including onsen were all functioning and top notch. The staff were also very helpful with any inquiries and gave us a shuttle van to the ski lifts where necessary.

Masa and the staff at Hotel Madam Mirei were so lovely! They helped us feel very welcome and ensured we had all we needed. The room was sufficient and wonderfully warm after a day in the snow. The hot pot dinner they provide in the restaurant is exceptional and delicious too! The snow gear and boards were all in great condition and they supplied everything we needed to go snowboarding/skiing on the slopes at the hotel. Good value for money and would definitely come back here again next time we're in Madarao.

We had a fantastic stay! The ski area and rental shop are right nearby, and the onsen was beautiful. Delicious meals, kind staff, and easy access from the station made it even better. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Absolutely loved this place, room was an excellent size loads of room best size I've ever had in Japan. The outdoor onsen was breathtaking when it snowed and every thing you needed was right there. Only thing was its a bit of a trek up to the main area restaurants etc but the hotel staff dropped us up at a restaurant for dinner we just stroled back down after and got very drunk in the karaoke room lol

The staff are so lovely, Takashi and Echo are so friendly and helpful, creating a very homely vibe. The location is a little secluded but nothing a free shuttle can't fix, and the food is delicious. Absolutely loved this place, room was an excellent size loads of room best size I've ever had in Japan. The outdoor onsen was breathtaking when it snowed and every thing you needed was right there. Only thing was its a bit of a trek up to the main area restaurants etc but the hotel staff dropped us up at a restaurant for dinner we just stroled back down after and got very drunk in the karaoke room lol
