Everything about this place was perfect. I have stayed in many countries with Booking, and I must say this was the absolute best experience. Clean beyond words, it had EVERYTHING you could possibly need, the host was a great person who took care that we felt at home. It is a 5 minute walk from the cable car station that connects Koyasan with Osaka. The views of the location are peaceful and the neighbourhood was quiet. Don't even doubt about staying here, if you are looking for a sign, this is it. Our group of 3 friends were delighted and we wish we could stay longer in Kudoyama.

I booked the room with private Onsen/bathroom and garden. It was absolutely amazing. What a beautiful and calm place. Very comfortable. Amazing food. Great experience. My room was a bit more modern with heating and lots of light and newer wood but the other rooms looked nice too, darker wood and more traditional. I think any room is worth a stay. The entire experience was special and beautiful.

Koyasan is a small beautiful Buddhist village in the mountain. The Shukubo Fudoin offers a fantastic possibility to learn a little of a Buddhist monk life and the religion. The monks are very nice and their dinner are delicious. We also enjoyed their onsen. This shukubo is very beautiful and the monk were doing their outmost to give us an unforgettable time with them. Thank you!
