The owners were extremely hospitable, from helping make reservations for restaurants and activities on the island to greeting us when we come back from a day of exploring the island. The owners prepared meals as well, which was exceptional. We loved the architecture and atmosphere of the accommodation itself, as it was a newly renovated traditional home. Thank you Masumi San and Oo San, we loved our stay here so much I could not speak highly enough! :) <3

The owner was so kind, she picked me up from the Indoji port and showed me the island, as I did not have a car and public transportation is limited in Iki. She only has two rooms, mine was lovely and fine to relax. I really enjoyed talking to the owner and spending time with her. Also, breakfast was so good! Kimiko (the owner) spends time on details and also makes the best coffee I had in Japan.

A beautiful, sunny and spacious home with views over Katsumoto from a wonderful rooftop balcony. The house had a full kitchen and a washing machine, and was set up with a dining room and comfortable lounge room. The house was a short stroll to the main town area where we could get dinner. Being a vacation stay, linens were provided but we had to bring our own towels which we were informed of when booking. It was very easy to pick up and return the keys to a local business. Highly recommended.

The view of the bay is exceptional. It’s fantastic to overlook it from the room and also from the restaurant. The traditional style of the room created a lovely experience. The Onsen on the balcony overlooking the bay is an experience not to be missed. This felt truly luxurious. The staff cannot be faulted. We speak English and very little Japanese and the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The food was beyond delicious. Prepared before our eyes and explained by the staff with care and detail. I cannot thank the staff more for their care and kindness.

Very nice location and very kind and helpful host! Lovely family and what beautiful sunrises you can watch from the rooms. Very cosy guesthouse also. Soothing expérience You can rent EV bikes which allows you to explore the island quite easily. Very convenient the host came to pick us up from the ferry port and drop us there when we left! The place is very special. I recommend!!!!
