I booked ocean view and show evidence to your staff, but she said she can’t understand Chinese. I don’t know what to say! I ordered 2 night with ocean view for celebrating my birthday, that was so terrible!!! The hotel price is not very cheap compared to others with no ocean view! She even asked me to pay much more for upgrade!!! The room is very small and bed is hard! And room soundproofing is worse! And the floor in Osen is slippery, I ffell to the ground!!! I highly recommend that guest can choose others!!!

This is one of our favourite accommodations during our one week trip in Kyushu. The location is perfect, esp if you had a car. Less than 10 minute drive to the Saraku Sand Bath, supermarket and JR station. It's also close to Ryugu Jingu and Tamatebako Onsen. The room has a big balcony with ocean view, and it was superb to watch the sunset and sunrise. The room has enough amenities and cooking equipments to make a small meal. The beds are large and comfortable. The natural onsen was a surprise bonus, and it is true onsen because we could smell sulphur from it! The host, Takada-san, showed us spectacular hospitality from the very beginning. The responses were always quick and warm. We deeply feel the love Takada-san have for Ibusuki. Ibusuki is such a lovely ocean village with high quality onsen, and the best sashimi I have ever had (among my 5 visits to Japan). We highly recommend everyone to visit Ibusuki and stay at Takada-san's accommodation!

We had an excellent stay. We arrived in Ibusuki around midday, and the host kindly offered to pick us up at the local train station. Within minutes, we reached his lovely traditional wooden house. The place was simple yet elegant, very clean, and thoughtfully organized. Communication was smooth - for anything more complex, we used Google Translate, which the host handled with ease. When we asked about a place to rent bicycles, he surprised us by generously lending us two of his own bikes, refusing any payment. Thanks to his kindness, we were on our way to the southern tip of Kyushu just 15 minutes after checking in. Overall, it was a very cozy, welcoming, and memorable stay. Highly recommended!

This is one of our favourite accommodations during our one week trip in Kyushu. The location is perfect, esp if you had a car. The beds are large and comfortable. The natural onsen was a surprise bonus, and it is true onsen because we could smell sulphur from it! The host, Takada-san, showed us spectacular hospitality from the very beginning. The responses were always quick and warm. We deeply feel the love Takada-san have for Ibusuki. Ibusuki is such a lovely ocean village with high quality onsen, and the best sashimi I have ever had (among my 5 visits to Japan). We highly recommend everyone to visit Ibusuki and stay at Takada-san's accommodation!

The room was clean and we enjoyed "onsen" bath in our room. There were also a lot of complemental snacks. Since W had two big luggage, it was difficult to carry them to the third floor. Beside that, every thing was perfect.

This trip was truly special. Thanks to the hotel's consideration, we were able to have a more perfect time. The view of the sea from the room was truly overwhelming, and the open view instantly relieved the fatigue of the day. The interior of the room was also clean and luxurious, making it very comfortable. In particular, the friendly service of the staff was the most memorable. Ibusuki is a wonderful location with great food, great...

Ibusuki is a wonderful location with great food, great beaches and even better people. On first look it may look like it has had it’s high tide many years ago, there is so much potential and there are projects in place to rejuvenate and inspire. A new beach is being created to capitalise on the existing beautiful white beach a 10min walk from the station. Also! World famous award-winning ramen just 200m from the station at Menya Jiro (New Yorkers may already know that name). Enjoy the unique to Ibusuki volcanic sand bath and cross the street for a simple and tasty meal at Angel or grab some tasty treats at the store downstairs. Sadly, the best beaches are private at overpriced and stuck-in-the-80s hotels so stay at Kokoro-no-Yado for a reasonably priced spa experience with a walk across a sandbar to the island of Chiranjima. Then hit the beach I mentioned earlier and bring a parasol or anything for shade and enjoy the sparkling water. Visit Ibusuki, walk around and see what it was and can be. Support Ibusuki. I think you’ll agree it’s worth your time.

Apartment was lovely, and large compared to a hotel room and everything you needed was available. Kitchen was good and washing machines was great. Beds were comfy and we liked the view. Enjoyed a coffee at the cafe on ground floor of building. Cafe & Bar Tetesan.

A wonderful traditional ryokan. The staff are lovely and very helpful. They will pick you up and drop you off at the JR station if you travel by train. Food is exceptional. Great location with a 3 minute walk to the sandbaths. The futons were very comfortable.

Great location on foot from sand bath, onsen, restaurants, konbini. Nice and responsive host: clear instructions, restaurant recommendations and very kind. We were by car, there was parking reserved for one car. Recommend this place if you visit Ibusuki!
