We absolutely loved staying here! Really wish we could have stayed longer than we did. The room was clean, modern and exactly as described. The view from the room was amazing as well! Staff were so friendly and helpful, the gentleman which was at the reception even helped us step by step with our luggage transfer.

This Hotel directly above the Hiroshima station was luxurious, quiet and extraordinary. The service orientation was worldclass, the rooms outstanding and the price still affordable. The strategic location made it possible to come from Kyoto in the morning, leave the luggage there, see Miyajima and Hiroshima in one day, stay there overnight and use the first Shinkansen up north in the next morning. And indulge in affordable luxury in between.

The staff at night that checked us in knew zero english, although after some back and forth we were able to get it done. The over all facility was amazing, i wish i could keep it a secret because of how nice it is but i cant help but share. We had the room with the dry sauna and it was amazing, we used it every knight we were there. I hope to visit Y-Hotel on my next visit. Only complaint is that we didnt have enough nights im Hiroshima, next time we’ll make sure to stay longer.

There is so much to learn in this historic city - I would recommend a guided tour to hear about the history of WW II and the drop of the atomic bomb; and how the city currently focuses on peace. In addition to the bomb site there are so many beautiful parks and other attractions to visit.

A compact city that is easily walked.

A compact city that is easily walked. Not that much to see, but a quieter pace of life. Excellent parks and Art museum. We came to see the memorial and the dome, of course, but in fact Tokyo lost more than 100,000 lives in the firebombing during WW2 in just one night.

I loved touring Hiroshima Castle and the Peace Memorial Museum. The history is very rich and enlightening. If I had more time, I would have looked for other things to do in Hiroshima and tried more of the cuisine.

We just visited for one night and one day to see the Peace Memorial Museum and Park. The museum was extremely moving and very confronting. Would recommend to anyone coming to Japan. Could have done with another day to see the castle and art museum. Suggest two full days if you have time.

There is only really one sight in Hiroshima, and it's worth a visit, depressing as it is. With a one-night stay, you should also be able to fit in the shrine on Miyajima, which is definitely worth the journey (aim for sunset).

Didn't explore much beyond the Peace Memorial Park, the Vitims memorial (so quiet and thought provoking, they have used the sound of water very well) and some nearby streets as only here for an afternoon and a morning. It certainly makes you question why atomic bombs were ever developed and affirms that they should never be used again. Seeing trees that survived the bomb, and listening to an 'in utero' survivor was moving too. On a happier note the okonomyaki is very much recommended. So easy to get around using trams.

Perfect location near the main train station for our one night in Hiroshima. The self check-in/-out terminal was easy enough and it was handy to have the convenience store downstairs. The room was small (we didn't even have much luggage, it would be particularly crowded if you have lots) but it was comfortable and practical enough. We were happy to have good air conditioning. I'd say it was good value considering the fairly low price we paid compared to other hotels in the area.

Room was extremely nice. Beautiful panoramic view of Hiroshima. The hotel was at full capacity but the room was so quiet, it made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel. Services in the hotel were excellent. Food was perfect. Staff were attentive friendly and professional. We’d definitely stay again.

The hotel was easy to find, about 30mins walk from Hiroshima train station. The staff were good, there is an area at reception where they hold your bags. The room was big for a Japanese hotel room. We'll set out, with comfortable beds. The bathroom was very nice, the shower was big too.

A good basic hotel in an excellent location just 5 minutes to the Hiroshima Peace Museum, buffet breakfast available from 6.30am. Worth getting tickets for early admission to the museum. The hotel is also happy to hang onto your luggage after check out.
