Very nice and modern hotel. Staff was very nice and friendly. The area is a bit quieter if that's what you like. There is a streetcar stop very close which takes you to the train station/city center and the Miyajima ferry. The peace park is also in walking distance.

Nice quiet location by the river, but only 10 - 15 mins walk to the main train station. The staff were lovely and helped with recommendations and bookings. The room was spacious, quiet and a great place to relax at the end of the day.

The room was absolutely clean and filled with an abundance of towels, garbage cans, and toiletries. It was massively spacious and filled with light from lots of windows. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great for getting around the city. We had absolutely no problems with check in or anything else.

Hiroshima is a place of historical significance, the symbolism of what happened there and how the present seems to be repeating it. It’s amazing how the city emerged from the tragedy, very modern transformation.

There is so much to learn in this historic city - I would recommend a guided tour to hear about the history of WW II and the drop of the atomic bomb; and how the city currently focuses on peace. In addition to the bomb site there are so many beautiful parks and other attractions to visit.

We spent an afternoon in the Peace Park and had a guided tour, followed by a visit to the Memorial Museum. We went into the Museum at 4pm hoping the crowds would have died down, but it was still very busy, so I'd recommend booking in advance a slot as late as possible. The following day we caught the ferry to Miyajima island and spent a whole day there, going on the Ropeway up Mt Misen and visiting the floating Torii gate. It's such a peaceful and beautiful island with free roaming deer! We used the tram (or streetcar as they call it) to get around which was handy.

A compact city that is easily walked.

A compact city that is easily walked. Not that much to see, but a quieter pace of life. Excellent parks and Art museum. We came to see the memorial and the dome, of course, but in fact Tokyo lost more than 100,000 lives in the firebombing during WW2 in just one night.

As we were only there for one night unfortunately for us it was a beautiful hotel. Our purpose was to come to see the Mazda Museum of course Hiroshima bombsite peace Park and of course near Miyajima Island. Next time we come we’ll stay a lot longer. If you’ve never been to Japan or Hiroshima or any of the big cities I would recommend staying right next to the station. The station will do your head in as it is anyway and you’ll get very confused which direction to go to but I believe that you stay in Shinagawa and start from there.

The hotel was ideally situated for visiting Hiroshima and was within an easy walk to the peace park and museum. Our room was clean and more spacious compared to other rooms we've stayed in in Japan. The guest lounge on the 14th floor was a nice place to spend an hour or so. Complementary food and snacks during certain hours was a nice touch.

A quick 10 minutes walk from the station and located along the river the En Hotel is great value for money and in a great location. Highly recommend for an overnight in Hiroshima. I walked down to the Peace Park which only took around 20 minutes and a great way to see the streets of Hiroshima.
