This place is great! It’s not in the centre of Takayama, but I liked that about it. There are bikes that can be borrowed for cycling into the central district. The view from my room was beautiful. The breakfast buffet is good value for money. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Overall excellent value for money.

This was one of the best places we (family, 2 adults and one kid) have stayed during our 3-week trip through Japan! We had the whole house for ourselves. Communication with the owner was quick and friendly. The house has everything you can think of. Location is in a quiet part of town, parking no problem. Approx. 15-20 min. (pleasant) walk to the centre of town. Two smaller restaurants nearby. We enjoyed staying in a non-touristy neighborhood. Highly recommended!

The free parking is truly appreciated. Furthermore, the entire property was very cozy. Had everything you would want. A fully equipped kitchen, a TV with Netflix and YouTube, and the heaters were very good so it never got cold even during the peak of winter.
