The owner was so lovely and helpful. pointed out local places to see etc. the place itself is very traditional and you feel like you are really in Japan here. we had the place to ourselves, so it was really quiet,but our room was open to the stairs above the walls to the shared kitchen below, but eveyone goes to bed early anyway.

The very friendly owner welcomed me and showed me around. It was a large room in a comfortable house. The shower was clean, large and powerful. Very quiet at night. Beautiful artwork in the large garage where I could park my bicycle. Very rural area.

We had an unforgettable experience at this place! The house itself is like something out of a fairytale — a traditional Japanese home, yet finished to an exceptionally high standard and absolutely stunning. The location in the heart of the old city is just perfect! The real highlight, however, is the team. They are true professionals, kind and attentive to every little detail. It was such a joy to meet such warm and welcoming people who grew up in the area. Breakfast was another unforgettable moment — prepared by the in-house chef, it felt like a fine dining experience served in the most beautiful room. Overall, an outstanding stay.
