The house was comfortable. Located among private houses, the location was serene and a real retreat for a break.5 minutes by car to Tsugaike Kogen ski resort made it abreeze to drop off skiers and pick them up when done! The heating was perfect and never too drying and the washing machine and dryer was marvellous. The kitchen was fully equipped and we actually made dinner in the house as going out at night in the snow didnt sound appealing! Mr Kudo lives next door and always available if needed. he even ofered to drive us around.

Location is perfect for hiking. Neighborhood is so nice and quiet with some good local restaurants and bus terminal is near. Breakfast is super! So delicious and looks beautiful. Hot spring is good enough to heal my fatigue after hiking. Staff is so nice and everything is so clean.

We had the most amazing stay over Christmas in Apricot Pension. The host and all the staff were so warm, welcoming and accommodating during our stay. The shuttle for the ski field is a 1 minute walk from the hotel and the room was perfect for relaxing in after a day on the slopes with a comfortable bed and a projector for watching movies. The lodge also had a gorgeous fire that was lit each night. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning and it was only a 10/15 minute walk to restaurants, bars and shops.

The staff at House of Finn Juhl were amazing! I booked these rooms for my family trip, Yuka helped me plan dinners for our large group before we arrived and then upon arrival was even more amazing. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was beautiful. They helped arrange our Takyubin to the next location for our luggage. They provided amazing snacks and great breakfasts, it was wonderful!

Location literally couldn't be better, beautiful spacious well appointed modern apartment. Friendly and helpful owners with great communication. Truly a pleasure to stay here.

Great location directly opposite chair lifts and Gondola.

Great location directly opposite chair lifts and Gondola. Easy to ski in/out. Hotel was great. Recently refurbished and well managed . Staff were excellent and friendly and offered great service.Good bar and cafe as part of hotel made the stay more pleasant. Rooms are roomy by Japanese hotel standards but are a little functional as opposed to comfortable. Beds are very hard and not very comfortable.

I love this location. you can get everywhere without a car...

I love this location. you can get everywhere without a car because there are many shuttles, taxis, and buses. the hotel staff will drive you for free at this place. also you can walk to some nearby places if it is not too cold for you. make sure you bring waterproof shoes and cold weather socks and clothes. renting snowboard gear can be cheaper than bringing your own.
