ItalyBeuatiful guesthouse with tons of books about ainu culture! The interior design as a whole gave a big ainu feeling, for example the beds with numbers in ainu language. In the common area there were even four tonkori, which are traditional ainu string instruments.
The position was great, literally in front on the Kayano Shigeru museum and near the beautiful Saru river.
Overall excellent experience!

The onsen was not on site, but in the nearby town, for which we got free entry.
Even though it is quiet due to the location in a forest, the walls had sound-proofing, making it a very relaxing experience.
Huge breakfast with a lot of local variety.
