When choosing this house, my friend and I were initially concerned that it might be difficult to reach it by public transport. However, this concern turned out to be unnecessary. Staying in this house was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The location and the condition of the property were excellent. We easily took a bus from the train station to the Daimonzaka bus stop, which is only about a 5-minute walk from the house. The house is situated in a very picturesque area near the forest. It is especially quiet at night, which creates a relaxing atmosphere. Falling asleep to the sounds of cicadas and other forest dwellers is the greatest pleasure, something a city person rarely experiences. The house itself is built in a traditional Japanese style and is filled with this unique atmosphere throughout. It is exceptionally clean, with everything perfectly maintained and well cared for. Check-in was smooth, and we were able to access the house easily by following the provided instructions. The property is very well equipped and thought out to the smallest detail. It provides all necessary appliances, kitchenware, and even toiletries that might be needed during the stay. We are particularly grateful to the host, who prepared bottled water and some food supplies for the guests. Since there are no shops nearby, it is important to buy groceries in advance at the station. We had purchased some food ourselves, but as we do not read Japanese, we chose the wrong flavor and could not eat it. The ramen left by the host was very helpful in this situation, and we sincerely appreciated it. The house is located just a 5-minute walk from the Daimonzaka staircase, which is one of the main sections of the famous Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route leading to the three Kumano Sanzan shrines. Near the staircase, there is also a small shop offering traditional pilgrim costume rentals. Spending two nights in this amazing house was a truly special experience.

The rooms feel like they're newly refurbished. Super clean. Amazing location by the fish market. 5 min from the train and bus station. Common area was big and great. Shared showers were super clean. Would definitely book this again on my next visit.

The owner was really friendly and chatted for quite a while. Location was only 11 minutes from Nachi Falls by car and easy to find from the expressway. Room was cosy, clean and was as expected.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our trip to Nachi Falls and were very pleased! Yes, the hotel and rooms may seem a little outdated, but the care from the owner who greeted us and the wonderful location of the hotel itself smooth out all these minuses! A nice room with two beds and everything you need: a refrigerator, sockets near the bed, a beautiful view of the sea from our windows, the bathroom has everything you need (we also saw that on the first floor you can take consumables, such as disposable toothbrushes and other small things)

This was the perfect place after the Komodo trail, no need to catch a bus or train, just 15mins further to walk after the falls and stairs arrive in the property. Very new, clean and modern inside, beautifully presented. I am happy I found this spot!
