The host, Teruo-san, was very friendly, kind and responsive. The accommodation was a beautifully renovated old Japanese house, and it was very clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. My kids loved the modern style deep Japanese bathtub.

We book 2 rooms for our family and I'm elated to find they offered us a connecting room, which makes things much more convenient for us. The staff are exceedingly helpful. Every one I met has good command of English. The buffet breakfast was amazing. Just a reminder though, one better be early to go for breakfast so you don't need to wait in line for entry. Rooms, facilities, footpath, spring bath, everything is so good!

Close to the station. I really appreciate the fact that the room is dark so you are not woken up because of the sun in the Morning. Might be a little too dark if you stay during the day (need to use the lights) Check in and check out was smooth Bed confortable. Quite a new facility, in a quiet area

We spent a very calm night on the 4th floor, we didn't hear any noise. The room was super clean and tidy. There are 3 washing machines. The hotel is 5 min away by car from the ferry station to Yakushima. The parking next door cost us 800yen from 9pm to 7:30am.
