It was a secret post wedding gateaway for my sister and her husband and they LOVED it. Giovanni was very sweet to decorate their room and pick them up and give sugestions. They loved the location and the view. Everything was very nice.

It was exceptional. It has a fantastic view from the top of the mountain and ideal for beautiful walks. House was very comfortable and nice. Very clean and equipped with everything. Mrs Alessandra was very nice and provided us with breakfast items for the following morning as we arrived late at night

We chose La Floppa for its location and it was what we expected, there is street parking available, but watch out for the daily hour limits. You will need your parking display. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, very friendly, showed us the apartment and explained everything and gave us information about where to buy food, restaurants, local cheese and told us about a street food party which was excellent as we like to eat! It was great. Local people are very friendly, they will salute you in the street even though we were obvious strangers. The location is great for alpine walking, mountain bike, street bike.. there is a bike shop nearby, in case you need to fix your bike, buy a new one etc. It is actually in front of the famous Italian ice-cream shop, nearby the pastry shop and most of all the San Pellegrino water.

The location and the views are breathtaking, while the staff and the owner himself made us feel at home at any moment of our stay! Super classy New Year’s Eve dinner with 8 course gourmet menu accompanied by excellent service and unforgettable outdoor party at midnight! The whole experience was exquisite from start to finish…Our family will never forget the magic of this place and the wonderful 5 days we spent here! The hotel is absolutely charming and Mario and his wife and son are lovely peoplke who do their best to make your stay a pleasant one . The situation of the hotel is quiet and a short walk into Bergamo which is a little jewel of a city . The shuttle bus that is offered is really useful at times but the walk is pleasant and not too long . Mario picked us up and took us back to the Airport . Breakfast was in a pleasant room and had everything you could want , including a cooked option of eggs etc. Unfortunately I was ill on this trip as I think I must have picked up a bug on the flight , so my enjoyment was marred by this , but Mario and his family were very helpful and understanding. Mario also helped us book a very good guide for a visit to Bergamo Citti Alta who was very good and charming.
