This is a fantastic historic building, excellent renovated, and well kept by the wonderful host. Villamar is an authentic small town in the inland. We came for the feast of the saffron in neighbouring Turri at the beginning of November, and just stayed one night. We'd happily stay at DiamanteSardo again, and do recommend it. Oh, I almost forgot: we slept like children in very comfortable beds, and calm surroundings.

The staff was very friendly and professional, and the hotel was very quiet at night, located 45 min away from the airport in Cagliari (perfect for the night before your flight back home if you have a rental car)! We also really liked the ambiance of the hotel. Plus rooms were very big, modern, and clean. Also, the breakfast was great! Would stay here again.

The stay was perfect, we regretted that we stayed only one night. The rooms and bathrooms were large and clean and included everything you can expect. What made the stay special were the owner couple with their friendliness and availability, as well as the food. The dinner consisting of home-made Sardinian and Italian specialties was outstanding, as was the breakfast with home-made pastries.

Everything was perfect. Lovely appartement, kind hosts, a nice breakfast. Nuraghe Barumini in walking distance and also not far away from Giara National Park. For family with kids: the picture with slides has been taken in Parco Acquatico Ilidarab, ca 15 minutes by car. The opening time of slides is very imited, so please read it before you go (Roberta is also very kind, she can help you, too :.) ) The communication with Roberta was absolutely easy. So thank you very much for hosting us
