I am still puzzled to this day, why an accommodation of this quality is located in the middle of nowhere. This place is absolutely brand new (as of 2024.10). It has everyting you would expect from a 4* hotel, but in the countryside of middle of Italy. Great breakfast. Was a bit worried about the sound of the highway nearby, but the rooms are soundproofed really good. Got recommendations for local restaurants from the host (they are driving distance away). The restaurant under the accommodation did not work the night we stayed there.

The host Andrea will do anything to make his guests happy. The house which has been converted into a hotel style, is located high on a mountain surrounded by trees. I liked being a short distance out of Parma, but you definitely need a car for this venue.

The location is really nice, despite it being very hot outside the room remained cool throughout the day and night. The hosts were very friendly and gave clear instructions on both how to get there and how to operate everything.

Everything was exceptional. Marko and Paula are excellent hosts. Marko speaks excellent English and was very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and very modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the swimming pool, with the patio and sun loungers overlooking a magnificent view of the valley and the Appenine Mountains beyond. As we were hiking the Via Francigena, and the property is outside the town of Medesano, and as the B & B does not provide evening meals, Marko ordered pizzas and beer for us from a restaurant in town. This saved us walking back into town. We dined sitting on a lovely terrace. Marko even gave us some of his home made Sloe Gin. Breakfast was delicious and wholesome, with plenty of local produce, especially their home made Parmesan cheese.

As we were hiking the Via Francigena, and the property is outside the town of Medesano, and as the B & B does not provide evening meals, Marko ordered pizzas and beer for us from a restaurant in town. Breakfast was delicious and wholesome, with plenty of local produce, especially their home made Parmesan cheese.
