Very warm welcome by Hotel staff and I could even choose the room! The room was quite spacious for Italy and had even a balcony. The room was very clean and had all what we expected. Also the breakfast was great done and you get more then just a croissant and a coffee, what would be typical in Italy!

Loved this place, it's clean and safe and has everything you need. Close to the train station, close to the beach and the host Alessandra was very nice and helpful. If we go back to Ventimiglia we will definitley stay here again.

This was a little oasis in a long journey. Just a few minutes walk from the train station we arrived late at night and left early. The room was airy, we even had a terrace, the shower was excellent, comfortable bed and space for our large dog. We just loved it and wished we were staying longer to enjoy the beautiful room. We were provided with a "little breakfast" but didn't have it as we left quite early ( I think my husband ate the nutella though). The welcome was warm and efficient from Christine, check in and out was easy. We loved it, thank you so much. On an aside, there is a cafe opposite the train station where you can get coffee, orange juice and patries etc. and a small supermarket on the corner.

Excellent location: right at the beach and beautiful views from the room as well as right in the centre of town. Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was cosy and spacious & the interiors of the building very tasteful and exquisitely italian. Another thing I liked about this accommodation was that you have easy access to the breakfast room from your bedroom and hence, access to the coffee maker there. So, you can grab a cup of coffee, take it to your room and drink it there in peace while enjoying the view from your window. Total bliss.

Unfortunately, the large covered market was closed due to a fire. However, the Friday weekly market was impressive - must be more than 200 stalls! A short bus excursion to the Giardini Hanbury was very good (but you must be physically fit, as on a steep hillside down to the sea)

Ventimiglia is a traditional border town with beaches, an old quarter, a market, a new marina and usual choice of cafes and restaurants. Excellent location for visiting nearby Italian towns and french towns are easily reached using reliable trains. Great location for visiting Hanbury Gardens (15 minutes by bus).

We liked that Ventimiglia is very close to popular places such as Monaco, Menton, SanRemo. Day trips very easy to do. Some areas of Ventimiglia were dodgy but overall people very friendly, prices reasonable and beaches not overcrowded

Beautiful and tranquil hidden gem in the hills of Italy. A memorable stay in Lo Scoiattolo. The place was tasteful, traditional and original. Everywhere was extremely clean and tidy, with good storage space. The view is beautiful overlooking the church and hills, with pear trees and other fruits growing in the garden. Option for a continental breakfast during the week and to taste the honey made on-site. Also a great opportunity to buy the wine and olive oil also made on the premises. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time in this apartment and felt very comfortable with Matteo and his family. Matteo looked after and advised us very well. The apartment is well equipped and has a large balcony with a fantastic sea view. The house is located on a steep slope typical of the region and is still easily accessible by car. There is a nice walk into the old town and the market hall of Ventimiglia. There are many opportunities to explore the beautiful area.

Although we were not sure, if the road is the right one, we came to a beautiful place and Massimo and his wife welcomed us with homemade limoncello and figs. The room itself was nice and cosy and we enjoyed sitting outside as well since you can see Ventimiglia and seaside. Massimo and his family has 3 cats, which were the best play buddies for our daughter
