The location is great. The hotel is fantastic and the welcome although was late in the night, was friendly. The receptionist did a very good job. Breakfast was tasty and also the person responsible for the breakfast was very polite and ready to give the maximum attention to the request of the guests. Villa Cagnola is not in Varese but 6 kms outside the town. If you are just passing through on an overnight stop then you need time to see the city. We walked to the nearest restaurant and had a very good dinner, beautifully served. This was in Gazzada.

We traveled with our little dog throughout Europe but the staff at Varese made us feel at home and fell in love with our dog named Leonardo which opened up our hearts for the staff and the hotel. We were just minutes away from visiting the famous "Villa Panza" and the famous collection of many of his Arts. Wonderful shopping experience just down the street and yet the hotel was secluded and private.

a wonderful place with so much to do - the sacre monte, lots...

a wonderful place with so much to do - the sacre monte, lots and lots of historic gardens, in walking distance the Villa Panza with amazing art and gardens - have lunch there it is fabulous. Also just staying by the pool with its views is amazing it's a shame it closes it 7pm - it really warrants longer hours.

Despite traveling to Italy yearly, I had never visited Varese until now. I was initially hesitant to stay in Varese since I needed to be within an hour from Milan for the Salone del Mobile, but I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the city. Varese was vibrant both during the day and at night, with a plethora of excellent restaurants and cafes to explore. Its proximity to the stunning lakes of Como and Varese was also a huge plus. The sight of the snow-covered Alps provided a picturesque backdrop that made Varese even more special. The charming cobbled streets in the city center were lined with pretty buildings that showcased the history of the area. Although we only stayed for two days, I could have easily extended my stay for a week or more.

The apartment is great for a sleep over. The apartment is clean, easy to access (even dough via a stairs), parking in the front and some restaurants nearby. I have seen the feedback about the breakfast, but it is Italian. Also well explained at arrival. Still with some other groceries from the refrigerator it was good enough to start your day. The host is very kind, speaks well English and easy to manage that the arrival went smooth. I will keep this in mind for a next trip to Italy.

We are travelling across Europe, we was plenty of different apartman, hotel..etc but this was the first 10 points stay. The owner was extremely kind and toughtfull literally like a caring granny. Recenty refurbished building everthying in working order with free parking. 15min walk from the downtown and 20 min walk from the train station. The owner currently struggling with the langugage but even her online translator was fun too. We are love this place

Nice location with spa, pool and restaurant short distance from Lago Varese - in between Lago Maggiore and Lago Como. Hotel looks freshly renovated with parking in front of the rooms for the standard rooms and covered garage parking for the rooms with sea-view. Breakfast with 12 EUR p.p. well worth it. Nice spa included, in pre-season eventually no time-slot restrictions, which otherwise you would have to book upon arrival.

It’s a spacious apartment, very modern, clean and had a good bed. Free reserved parking. Nice view with a balcony. Blazing fast internet including upload, best in Italy! Video received for instructions on parking, the annoying digital keys and house appliances.
