Exceptionally warm welcome and service, the owner and the staff were all about making our stay better, The location is just astounding. Breakfast and dinner was perfect. Less than two minutes of walk away there is a public beach. An evening swim in the crystal clear waters of Lake Lugano with the majestic mountains in the background is en par or better then most of the adriatic beach experiences one can get. We stayed here for two nights but could easily spend a week here exploring the region and relaxing at Caffè del Viaggiatore.

Our room was recently renovated and really modern. Everything was clean and well equipped. The staff was really friendly even though we can't speak any italian. The breakfast was simple but really delicious. The location is only 10-15 minutes by car from the next village at the lake. From there you can take a ferry to other parts of the lake. Over all we were really happy with our stay.

Beautiful small village. Easy access to lake , Lugano and mountains. Some narrow roads and lots of speed cameras . Walking around the village is limited. Ate in the restaurant at Hotel Stella d’Italia ; excellent.

We loved this place. It is ideally for calm stay. Our room with lake view on the 2 floor was big and spacious. Bathroom with the window and balcony). The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was simple, but included in the price of the room. You don't have to go anywhere in the evening, you can take a diner right here. There is a restaurant downstairs. The lake with pontoon-bridge is just 3 min from the hotel. So you can swim. There is a on -site parking space. Highly recommended!

This hotel is located by the lake, so all rooms and common areas have a wonderful view. You can jump to the lake from the garden's deck, it's absolutely lovely! It is located in a small village area close to Lugano (10-15 min by car). The restaurant is top level, food quality and service are excellent. There's also a bar and you can enjoy a drink watching the amazing landscape. Our room had a large balcony facing the lake, we loved the view. Good value for price.

All rooms, the restaurant and the “beach” are facing the lake. Also our room had a balcony with a great lake view. The room was basic, but the setting made it exceptional. If you like hiking, then it is very easy to start right behind the hotel and go into the mountains.

A charming little city with lots of character and direct location on Lake Lugano. The hotel's location is directly across from the public pool and swimming area. Hugely convenient. Breakfast was very good despite being on a smaller side.
