We stumbled upon this property with no expectations but were blown away!! We were met by very kind and friendly concierge upon arrival who gave us some insights to the surrounding area and recommendations for dinner. And also offered to make reservations. Rooms are beautifully appointed, clean and very comfortable. The hotel hosts weddings and events that we can see would be a perfect setting. Breakfast had a good selection of breads, yoghurts, meats and cheeses typical of most continental breakfasts we have seen during our stay, and the morning concierge was equally as friendly. Parking is available on site.

The nicest and most hospitable host, who kindly waited for us after 9 pm. Don't expect luxury for that kind of money in a small town. Old doors and a corridor where you can hear everything. But the room is very warm in winter, equipped with everything you need, the bed and pillows are comfortable, everything is clean. And a very charming host. I wish you good visitors. I give the host 10 points)

Lovely location, 5 minutes off the motorway so great for a stop over. Very nice rooms, gardens, outdoor areas. Great food at dinner and we combined the taster menu with the wine tasting from our wine tour. Staff very helpful. Great breakfast with a lot of choice. Interesting wine tour and tasting. Absolutely wonderful apartment with plenty of room just off the main street. Has all amenities that is need throughout your stay. The best thing about golden residence though has to be the host. Went above and beyond for us and made a lively breakfast, even sent us home with some snacks for the road. I will definitely be back to stay at Golden residences.

Historic, authentic and beautiful. The host Carmelo was so accommodating and passionate about the town and its history , his sisters Anna Maria and Lucia were so gracious, with their time. The house was well equipped, spotlessly clean, and suspended in time. A slice of country in the center of the village.
