Wow what an amazing hotel ! We loved every minute of our stay. It’s a family run hotel and they were so helpful with suggestions of places to go which were fantastic. We had a wonderful view of the beach and marina and could see the sunrise from the bed!! Breakfast was excellent with everything freshly baked ! It’s only half an hour from Lecce and half an hour from Otranto. They suggested going to a swimming place called The 100 steps which was the most beautiful place where we have ever swam! They have a lovely restaurant in the hotel overlooking the sea and the service there was excellent. We have never experienced such friendly people. We had stayed in a hotel in Polignano where they were only interested in telling us about places that cost money to go to, not at all the case in Hotel Romano. We were so sad to leave . We will definitely be back as it’s in the middle of The Salento Peninsula which has amazing beaches. Our room was perfect and you could not hear any sounds from the other rooms. When they showed us the room they apologised that it was small !! It was not small, it was just perfect with a huge balcony. I can’t praise this hotel enough , just wonderful people and wonderful location.

We loved staying there and we absolutely recommend it for anyone who are exploring this part of Puglia and like to stay in a comfortable new hotel! It is a really nice, modern hotel with spacious rooms. Breakfast is delicious and the pool is also great!

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great position for the beach and about a 15 minute drive to visit Otranto. The apartment was clean and a pass is given to park around the hotel without paying for street parking. We visited in May and unfortunately there are not as many shops open around this time but did make for a quieter beach!

The Masseria is a perfect choice. The location offers you a wonderful Walk distance Beach (Baia Dei Turchi, which is one of the nicest in the region). If you wish to explore other Beaches in Salento, it is also very easy to drive for it without trouble. The Food menus in the night was a Nice surprise, offering a gastronomic immersion on the region tastes. Really recommended. But it you choose, adaptations can also be done to fit all tastes. Finally, i want to share a few words about Valentina. She helped us on all needs we had, and was always open to talk and explain about our curiosities on the region. It was nice to feel we had a friend to learn from in the staff.

The staff here really make the experience special. A particular shout-out to Rocco who showed us around when we arrived, and Martina and Alba at the Kids' Club who entertained our children for quite long periods of time! The staff were always extremely helpful, and had endless recommendations for attractions and restaurants in the local area. The breakfast each morning was excellent, as was the lovely swimming pool, and the size of the family room we stayed in. Lastly, a shout-out to Maurizio, who shuttled us to and from the hotel to various local sights and provided great conversation on the journeys. Highly recommended.

Wow what an amazing hotel ! We loved every minute of our stay. It’s a family run hotel and they were so helpful with suggestions of places to go which were fantastic.
