The place is in an excellent location, in an orchard, (you need a car to get there) near the village of Torre Santa Suzanna. The estate is a very beautiful place, far away from the noises of a city, ideal for families and couples. It has a swimming pool (which the kids absolutely loved) and a very big backyard with plenty of space for parking the cars. It is very safe and secure (you need a key to open the external door to enter the estate). The rooms are very spacious and clean and the host is very helpful and friendly.

A rather sad little town.

A rather sad little town. It felt that a more lively life had passed it by. None of the elements we were looking for - lively food culture so for example there were only pizzerias and seemingly no other kinds of food available even such as pasta dishes. No fresh food on sale as the few shops we found seemed to only sell packages of highly processed food. No evidence anywhere of the much vaunted Mediterranean diet. We had to travel to other places to get a sense of a more expected Italian culture. We thought as time went on that the large areas of dead olive groves in the surrounding area probably meant that the area had taken a financial knock and the population are struggling with their local economy in jeopardy

Elegant, very clean and comfortable.

Elegant, very clean and comfortable. We were given a warm welcome, our every need was catered for. Very friendly, hard working staff, always had time for you. Dietary problems were catered for. Very attentive staff. We ate in their restaurant each evening, excellent food, wine, and choice of music.

We booked the hotel for the very beginning of our trip and again, two weeks later, for the end. And we are grateful to the owners for refunding us for the first night, since our ferry was canceled. Just a 20-minute drive away, there are beautiful, uncrowded beaches on the Ionian Sea. Just a three-minute walk from the hotel, there’s excellent pizza at “Mimmo’s.” Inexpensive and very tasty

The hospitality is excellent and it's a hotel I would like to come back to. I don't speak Italian and was travelling to a completely unfamiliar area so I was quite nervous, but the owner of this hotel was very kind and friendly. He communicated with me using a translator and took me to some recommended spots. Thanks to this, I was able to make many wonderful memories. Thank you very much.

I loved everything about this place. The rooms were big and spacious, the bed was comfy, big windows, delicious pizza, good parking (easter time). the staff was welcoming and wonderful. you get the whole old italian castle experience but newly renovated. the location of the hotel is in a small town but if you rent a car it’s perfect to just explore the Apulia region and come back to sleep
